Job description
The Pre-Sales Consultant secures the Akeneo pre-sales and winning process in her/his region.
You’ll work directly with the Sales team, to define the best value-selling and solution consulting required to secure each sales opportunity, covering the expected critical business cases through high-quality product demos, workshops, and leveraging our tech partners' ecosystem’s joint value.
This role will report directly to the Pre-Sales Manager CEE.
More precisely, your main responsibilities will be to:
Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in product information management (PIM),
Conduct discovery sessions together with sales and with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.
Create and deliver solutions prescription, value-based demonstrations, and technical and business discussions in a credible and compelling manner, and position yourself as a trusted advisor,
Thrive in a client-facing environment and find simple solutions to complex problems,
Manage RFI/RFP; proactively scope the technical and functional solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm,
Design and present possible technical integration plan and detailed solutions consisting of Akeneo PIM software, integrated 3rd party solutions, and professional service offerings, including estimations and quotations.
Support the selling efforts of the Account Executives, from qualification and discovery to execution, including deal close,
Collaborate with the product and development team to provide feedback on new features and functionality
Interact in a positive way with our partners' ecosystem and solution integrators during the pre-sales phase,
Travel and represent Akeneo at prospective clients, key industry forums, trade shows, and other events as the local expert in PIM technology.
Qualifications

Your strong sales support skills, customer service skills, and commercial instinct, even though you’re not a salesperson
Your ability to comfortably present to groups of C-level.
What are your background qualifications?
You possess knowledge of project management skills
You have professional experience in pre-sales in a software company or an IT services company. Ideally, in the world of e-commerce, content management or master data management
You have strong presentation skills and professional behavior
You are interested to learn more about enterprise software technologies and possess some skills and experiences with web-based technologies
You developed high-level personal planning and organizational skills
You are fluent in German and English.
