Job description
Working with the global and local Channel team, the Channel Manager will help keep Akeneo’s partner ecosystem the best in class in the software industry. You’ll work directly with our local partners to identify joint opportunities and support the partner build and growing their Akeneo PIM expertise and team. Leveraging your relationships, you’ll have the chance to contribute to the GTM team's success, winning more fans and friends for the best PIM on the market. This role will collaborate across the whole channel organization and be integral to creating value out of our partnerships. This will be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced networker and business developer looking to reach the next level in a company where partners are vital.
This role will report directly to the Regional Channel Director.
This role will work closely with the Field Marketing team, the local Sales team, the Professional Service team and the Customer Success Management team.
More precisely, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Create compelling relationships with key system integrators.
- Build and execute on business plans with your partners, track the progress, identify and address gaps to achieve a high accuracy of the defined target.
- Work closely with the partners and help them to grow their PIM knowledge and business.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and professional services to help create new partner-sourced opportunities and shepherding partner-influenced opportunities to a successful close for Akeneo and partners.
- Create annual business plans with your key partners to drive mutual business impact.
- Assist in developing the best-in-class partner program in the software industry, while also uncovering and onboarding the next wave of great Akeneo partners.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in Channel Management preferred in SaaS companies.
- Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders.
- You have excellent writing and communication skills.
- You are organized and able to meet deadlines.
- You are entrepreneurial and enthusiastic about navigating and succeeding in a rapidly evolving business.
- You have a scrappy, ‘get-it-done’ attitude; resourceful and creative.
- You act with empathy and communicate with honesty, openness, and respect.
- Native German and fluent English.
